What We’ve Been Up To

Drone Filming Rally Cars

Pro Biker Tries Rallying

Redbull have released the film we worked on earlier in the year.

MTB rider and amateur rally driver Gee Atherton is put through his paces by Elfyn Evans. Driving an M-Sport Ford around the forest stages near Brenig reservoir in North Wales.

Gee tries a few focusing and performance techniques and hits the stages to find out if they work for him.

Trade Stand at Innovation in Agriculture

Eastwood Media had a trade stand at the Innovation and Diversity in Agriculture show at the Royal Welsh Showground in Builth Wells, mid Wales.

Our stand had our industrial DJI M210 drone showing the outputs of our XT2 thermal imaging camera and Z30 inspection zoom camera on a large monitor and an FPV racer simulator.

We had a great time talking to people and listening to their ideas on how drone technology can be integrated in agriculture business.

Drone Filming Downhill Mountain Bikers

We were at Dyfi Bike Park in Corris, Mid Wales providing aerial imagery for a BBC Sport production.

The short film is about the Atherton mountain bike racing family and their newly opened bike park.

We were brought in to drone film Dan Atherton on the trails with our DJI Inspire 2 with X7 camera.

Filming at Trevor Basin

We were at Trevor Basin near Llangollen filming a live performance of Thomas Telford* today.

He’s talking to school children about the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and canal, giving the children the what, where, when and why’s of the infrastructure. Then they had a tour of the site.

We are making a film of the project to be shared on social media.

(*Not the real Thomas Telford.)

Drone Filming on the White Cliffs of Dover

We’ve been at the White Cliffs of Dover drone filming for a forthcoming TV documentary about two people who run a business nearby.

The documentary has been filmed over the last few months and we’re here to get general vistas of the iconic scenery around Dover and to get linking and introductory shots for the specific locations in the film flying our DJI Inspire 2 Drone.

Drone Filming at UNESCO World Heritage Site

Working close to home at the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and Canal World Heritage Site gathering aerial imagery for a film celebrating 10 years since the UNESCO designation of the area.

The site stretches from Chirk along the Dee valley through Llangollen with lots of places to shoot in glorious late September weather.

Filming at National Trust’s Erddig Estate

Filming a community project on the grounds of the National Trust Erddig estate.

Erddig Grow is a garden that produces flowers, fruit and vegetables by local volunteers that are sold to visitors.

Located on the edge of Wrexham this is a beautiful little project to be involved in.
